The latest version of the DEP RNC user-defined reference home is now posted on the program website's Rater Field Guide page. The latest version includes a very minor update to thermostat settings in the reference home. Testing conducted by the program consistently showed that savings were reduced by 1-2%. This change is necessary, as it improves the accuracy of projected savings. This improved accuracy directly translates into a stronger and more stable program.
REM/Rate v15.2 testing is underway. The program will communicate the process/schedule for transitioning to this newest version as soon as possible. Please note that no homes will be accepted in v15.0 until the transition is announced. RESNET will not require use of v15.1 or later until January 1, 2017.
