Coinciding with the transition to the Program’s new Ekotrope-based application system, ENERGY STAR Certified smart thermostats will receive a deemed savings equivalent to $75 per install. Up to 3 qualifying thermostats can receive this incentive in each home. **Note that only homes that qualify for HERO+HERS incentives ($/kWh) can take advantage of the deemed savings.**
Requirements:
Home must qualify for HERO+HERS incentive
Thermostat must be listed on the ENERGY STAR product finder
Raters must collect the following information for each device during final inspections
